One Donegal Cultural Diversity Month Program of Events - 2011
The 2011 Donegal CDB Peace and Reconciliation Partnership's One Donegal Cultural Diversity Month will take place throughout November. The programme of events is available by clicking on the title and will also be available on the Council's website www.donegalcoco.ie, on Donegal County Council's Facebook page and also follow us on twitter. Hard copies of the programme will be available next week by contacting Sarah Thompson on (074) 9172586 or at sthompson@donegalcoco.ie. These will also be distributed to various locations throughout the county and the border area.
The wide range of activities in this year’s programme reflects the variety of work supported by the Partnership through the Donegal PEACE III Action Plan (2008 - 2013) in an effort to attain their shared vision of “Donegal, a county where racism and sectarianism no longer exists and where all feel equally valued and confident that they belong.”
We would like to acknowledge the work of all who are involved in hosting events throughout the month and wish all of the events well. Supported events are free of charge and we would encourage everyone to get involved in the planned activities to help make the One Donegal Cultural Diversity Month a success.
