 In
collaboration with various partners with an interest in Early Childhood
Care and Education (ECCE), including Donegal Children’s Services
Committee, the Donegal County Childcare Committee (DCCC) is hosting The
Colour of My Dreams
Conference in An Grianán Hotel, Speenogue, Burt, Co. Donegal on
Thursday 28th May 2009.
What
will the conference include?
Children
will be active participants in the event and a message promoting
children’s rights will open the conference. The conference aims to attract
a group of specialist guest speakers who will discuss and offer advice
around various aspects of children’s well-being. Various agencies and
services relating to services for children will provide information stands
and practical supports will be provided by a range of conference
exhibitors.

does the conference aim to achieve?
The
conference aims to provide practical information, support and advice on
issues which have an impact on all aspects of children’s well-being in
modern society. The
conference will focus on achieving best outcomes for children by
encouraging partnerships and through the pooling of expertise in this
area. Collectively and collaboratively, childcare services, parents,
health professionals and childcare agencies will be encouraged to build on
their responsibility to safeguard and promote the holistic well-being of
children.
