Riverlinks Project Underway

The River Links project has been awarded €2.1m under Priority 2: Theme 1 (Rural Development) of the INTERREG IVA Cross Border Programme. The Project is being led by Donegal County Council. Project partners include Strabane District Council and Ballybofey&Stranorlar Integrated Commmunity Company (BASICC).
On the 2nd of November, Cllr. Noel McBride Mayor of Co. Donegal, in the presence of Cllr. Brian McMahon Chair of Strabane District Council and Project Partners, officially launched the overall project and the development of the Stranorlar Community Enterprise Centre which is being part funded by the River Links Project.
On 12th December 2011, the River Links Project held its first Steering Committee meeting. A wide range of organisations are represented on the committee consisting of:
